Ron Jackson Agency kicked off the New Year with a new commitment of giving $3.00 per quote per month! The Irish American Club of Kalamazoo was our first recipient. Mark Jackson presented the club with a $400.00 check. Since 2001, the club has organized the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and the Kalamazoo Irish Festival, both drawing thousands of people to downtown Kalamazoo. In addition to these two events, they also host an annual luncheon for 250 clients at Ministry with Community on St. Patrick’s Day, where their club members volunteer to buy groceries, prepare the meal, serve and clean up. They also collect non-perishable food items for Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes at their monthly meetings throughout the year. At their December meeting, they collect unwrapped toys and gifts for the YWCA Domestic Assault Program. The Irish American Club of Kalamazoo is a wonderful asset to our community.
