List of TSA Carry-On Items That Still Won’t Fly

1-1242068280F2br.jpgStarting on April 25, 2013 the TSA will now allow some controversial and not-so-controversial items in the carry-on of travelers.

That pocket knife that your Grandpa gave you in second grade is now allowed along with sporting items including billiard cues, two golf clubs, novelty and toy baseball bats, hockey and lacrosse sticks.

To keep travelers from getting too confused here is a list of common items that are STILL not allowed in your carry-on:

-Any liquid over 3.4 ounces. If your bottle of water has only 2 ounces left but was labeled with 16 ounces, it still doesn’t fly. This also applies to lotions. Yeah, we know.

-Box cutters. Period.

-Lighters with any amount of fluid in them.

-Scissors with blades that are longer than 4 inches or are pointed.

-Swords. In spite of the lift on ski poles, those in the sport of fencing will still need to check their   sword.

-Snow globes with more than 3.4 ounces. Don’t forget the Ziploc bag.
